MyWebKeepAlive is more than a website keep-alive service, as it provides features to help activly monitor website performance, and pro-activly notify
site administrators should issues arise. Existing site functionality allows site administrators to monitor the load times and content sizes of their pages
future service enhancements will add many additional tools to the system. The following are a highlight of the upcoming features.
System Outage Notifications (Est. March 2010)
This option will allow site admnistrators to set a threshold of "miseed" visits to the site. If this number of visits to the sites fails an e-mail notification will
be generated that will inform the user that the site has been unreachable for more than the acceptable notification. This notification service will ensure that site administrators
know right away that their sites are unavailable and can work to resolve the issues ASAP. Once service has been restored an e-mail notification will be sent detailing information
on the outage period and nature of the issue.
Enhanced Reporting (Est. March 2010)
Additional reporting information will be provided to allow for a deeper look into monitored site performance with at least a 6 month data retention policy to allow for current
and historical reviews of information. Export functionality will also be introduced allowing for the raw monitor data to be exported to MS Excel for futher analysis.
